    My Xbox will not come on when I hit the button it beeps but it still won't come on when I hit the check button it beeps but it won't come on and I don't know why I don't know why it's doing that I don't know what would cause it to do that

    Chirp or a small beep noise while in Instant-on (standby) mode

    I too am hearing a small little beep in standby. My sound usually happens when the fan comes on in standby; i'm assuming to update the machine or something; and it makes a beep right before the fan goes out.

    I have the same problem with my xbox one original. I unplugged the console during one new system updates you get if your signed up for the early updates. And I plugged it back in at a friends and since then it hasn't come back on, it just makes a beeping
    noise but the lights along with console won't come on. Please help!

    Yes I have. Might I add the beeping sound is coming from inside the console. My controller won't turn it on unless it's plugged in via usb cable. I've done all the necessary troubleshooting eg power cycling, resetting, repeated pressing the eject button
    etc but still the same thing.
