    My Xbox will turn on for around 10 seconds then shut off automatically


    My Xbox One S that i got for my birthday in April 2017 will not turn on properly. I had no issues with it until one day my Xbox just would turn on and suddenly shut off, without showing anything on the screen. What should i do?

    Xbox doesn't turn off when I turn it off?

    My console does not turn off automatically like it should either. There is nothing wrong with it, I just noticed it takes about 20 seconds before it goes off fully, rather than shutting off after I click the off button.

    Never had problems with my xbox before, it now decides to turn on for 3 seconds show the light then shut off, ive tried numerous things including messing with the power box , its all fine, and im wondering if anyone can give me a solution?

    Try turning off the xbox by holding the power button for 10 seconds and wait around 20 seconds to turn it on.
