My xbox will not update and wont update offline

My xbox got stuck on a update so i factory reset it and tried to update it offline but the option still will not come up even though it has the usb with the file on it.

If you are in an Insider preview you can't use offline system update (OSU).

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand having issue updating the Xbox console. If the offline update or reset console is not working. We recommend you to set up a repair as that would be the next step. You can go to

device support and check warranty status and set up the repair. If there is a Microsoft store near you, can also try taking the console there.

Why are ypi using the offliine updater

Instead of the online

If you are trying to factory reset an insiders console that wont work

For all troubleshootiing concerning insiders must be done on regedit /xboxinsiders

And no the offline updater wont work with it unless you do it properly
