    My xbox will not turn on


    For the past 2 weeks my xbox has been shutting off randomly and before then it was fine and I've never encountered this issue before now but I tried switching the cables for the xbox 360 slim with my xbox one power supply and that worked for about 2 days
    without turning off but after then it began to randomly shut off after about 10 minutes and I tried pressing the sync button and eject button and that didn't work either so idk if its time to get a new xbox or not but now it doesn't even want to turn on even
    when the power supply has power in it and connected to the xbox.

    What color is the light on the power adapter? Also try pluging the console in a different power outlet. Make sure that all plugs (Av cable, Power cables) to the xbox are pluged in. The power cable connects to the wall then to the power brick then to the
    console. make sure all these are pluged in all the way and that there is nothing loose

    Thanks for the support message.

    It sounds like you received a system update issue. Be sure you've left the console on the green screen for at least 10+ minutes to see if it ever reverts to the Xbox Home screen. If not, give these steps a go and shout back!

    It sounds like you might need to take it in for repairs because there's corrosion on the board.
