    My Xbox will not connect to the internet no matter what


    For the past three days my Xbox has not been able to connect to the internet. After I restarted it I unconnected to my internet then tried to connect again but it didn't have any wifi names there. I typed in my wifi but it wouldn't connect, I tried all the
    things it told me to try but none of them worked.

    I haven't found anyone with the same problem and I really need my Xbox to connect.

    My Xbox won’t connect to internet

    my Xbox is not connecting to the internet although any other device in my house can connect to my wifi. No matter how many times I turn off my router and then turn it back it my wifi will still not connect to my wifi

    If you can't see any wifi networks then try and power cycle the xbox...let it sit unplugged for about 5 min

    Also make sure you haven't changed any wifi settings on your router. You might want to power cycle it too.

    It could be a bad wifi chip in the Xbox...try a wired connection and see if that works

    Hi Minyblade! I hope you are well, delighted to be able to offer you my help!

    If the Xbox uses the same dynamic IP it was originally assigned, it will go into standby mode for a while, and if a new device connects to your Wi-Fi, it can take over the assigned address, causing problems. Then Xbox will shut down and not connect because your IP address is being used, and you will need to shut down your Xbox completely to connect.

    It happens no matter what. When that mic disconnects, it takes my internet connection with it.
