My Xbox will connect to CenturyLink wifi but it makes my console act up bye signing me out...

I got the same error code. What worked for me was disconnecting from my wifi. Signing out, then back in. Playing a video to test it and it worked. Then I signed back into my wifi and it continued to work. Either it's a connection issue or a comcast internet
connection issue.

Having this issue for the 3 days. My Xbox connects to my WiFi network but has no internet connection. I believe it could be a router configuration issue.

My Laptop is connected to WiFi and works searching the Web.

My iPhone connects to WiFi and can load the web, Instagram, etc. but cannot load Twitter App.

Comcast TV is working.

I have tried signing out and signing in, hard restarting Xbox, and unplugging router and plugging in. All of this to no avail.

I have used my phone as a mobile HotSpot and it allowed for me to get online but could not play multiplayer games due to AT&Ts bad network making your Nat strict.

Any ideas?

I’m confused, does the app on your phone make you sign in every time you use it? For me it just automatically signs me in, and when I’m home on my wifi it connects to my Xbox. Is your Xbox set to instant-on mode? That may be the culprit here.

I just wanted to add to this thread, as I've been having similar Wifi/connectivity issues with my X1S. I'm glad to read that I'm not the only one experiencing this.

Last year, I went through 2 X1S consoles. both ended up having Wifi connectivity issues where it would suddenly drop my wifi connection, and in some cases wouldn't even recognize my networks to let me reconnect. All my other devices connected to Wifi fine
with no problem. I ended returning both consoles.

However, last year, I had a faulty router which went down frequently ( affecting all devices ). I've since replaced that router with one that's been working properly. So, I decided to give the X1S another chance and bought another
console last month.

Aside from a noisy fan and a busted controller, the console had been working fine wifi/connectivity wise. However, over the past week or so, I've been having more frequent trouble. This time, I've been randomly signed out of my profile and/or disconnected
from Xbox Live. Again, all other devices have no connection problems. And even my X1S seems to still connect to the internet, since I can pull up the Edge browser and browse.

But, I keep getting signed out of my account randomly and disconnected from Live.

So, yeah, once again it's another frustrating experience with the Xbox One S.

Its not getting hung up just signs me straight out an says Bye sign in with you're controller. Xbox assist is unavailable. Tried a hard reset no joy.
