    My xbox turns on the off


    My xbox one worked perfectly with my external hardrive. This morning though I turned it on and it just kept turning off after the xbox logo was brought up. I have it plugged directly into an outlet if I unplug my external hard I've it will work. But I have
    half of my games on my external harddrivem it worked before this morning perfectly and now every time I plug it in it just shuts off and won't fully start unless I unplug my external hardrive.

    My xbox turn on but then the eliminator turn off

    When I coneccted the eliminator to the xbox, this turn off quickly, it only lasts 1 second turn switched on. I don't know if the problem is my console or the eliminator. HEEEELP

    Hi

    It is recommended to connect your console directly to the wall outlet and not via any surge protectors or power strips. If the console is performing correctly when connected directly to a wall outlet then it would suggest that what ever you are connecting
    to is not allowing the console to perform as desired.

    Sounds like your external drive is shot.

    They do fail sometimes.

    It could be a ventilation issue and that means you would have to send it in for repairs. Have you checked to see if it's getting hot and made sure it's able to properly ventilate?

    Make sure your console is sent where it's receiving air flow. Covering or position it blockage of ventilation can cause these issues.

    Check the ventilation on the system. If it is overheating, you should get a warning message before the system shuts down. If you do, turn off the console and wait at least an hour. Make sure the Xbox
    One has enough ventilation and try again. If this persists, contact Microsoft.
