    My Xbox turns on and then off instantly.


    2 days ago i went to turn on my xbox and it turned on then off within a second or 2, has anyone else had this problem and anyway to fix it?

    This generic solution is not applicable here as the the device won't even turn on. It switches off automatically within fraction of seconds after turning on. So definitely it is not a power supply issue. Secondly, I turned it on after 3 days today. So
    over heating scenario is also ruled out.

    It's important to check the power supply. The link @denis97g provided is the best to check, but please be extra safe that the power supply couldn't cause a fire hazard if not operating normally. The troubleshooter linked will have instructions on how
    to replace it through
    devicesupport.microsoft.com     which provides options for in and out of warranty.
