    My Xbox turns off whenever the verification completes


    So yesterday I went on xbox insider and tried to download the update. When I was updating my console it turned off after the verifaction. I have tried all the troubleshooting methods and even tried an offline update, but when I tried to factory reset it.
    It was going fine until it said I had to update it again. So I tried again and at 54% like always it turned off. I need help because I dont have the money to buy a new console

    Hey there, do you have two-step verification enabled by any chance? This requires that you create an 'app password' for the Xbox console and will differ from the password you use to log-in to the email account itself.

    Hi. Until you get an official response can I suggest going to your microsoft account at
    http://account.live.com/ going to the "Edit security info" and then turning off the "Two-step verification".

    I have had the exact same issue as you where I've wasted 45 minutes following their instruction and systematically deleting cache, profile and updates for it to be completely useless.

    I turn off their verification process and bam it signed me straight in on the xbox.
