My Xbox turns off after i load up the troubleshoot menu? PLEASE HELP!

Ok so for a couple months ive been having issues with my system making eject noises and turning on by itself after shutdown..so today as im on it kept freezing while i was on the dashboard and my controller wasnt funcitioning..after i hard reset it i was
then stuck on the green screen and resetting it again didnt work..i then held the synch and power button to bring up troubleshooting but as soon as it pops up the system turns off (mulitple times)

im assuming that the issues ive been having have finally caught up to me or it was the system update i had to do this morning.
