My Xbox Series X's 3d graphics are glitching.

Recently in the past few days since starting to play Halo Infinite's beta my xbox has started making a quick grinding noise before starting. And any time it loads into a game where there are 3d visuals, said visuals begin glitching out and textures of them black out. Certain games won't even start now or crash any time a game starts.

I'm worried that the graphics card on the xbox series x has broken or something like that. Is there a way to fix this?

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

We need to isolate the issue further. First, please try to use a different HDMI cable or different TV.

If ever you’re done testing it using a different TV and HDMI and the issue occurs you may need to reset the console keeping games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.
Select Reset console.
Reset and keep my games & apps.

My first response to the issue was to reset it as you mentioned and unfortunately it did not work. I switched out the HDMI cables and that has seemed to not affected the issue. As for other things I have tried, switching hdmi ports on the tv, hard turning off the xbox series x, waiting a period of time for the console to "cool down", updating the xbox to its most recent update, and I believe that was it. I was logging a thing to get the xbox sent to microsoft for repair however it wont let me get to the shipping part of the sequence of fill out things.

Hello, My name is Jesse. I'm an Independent Advisor and a member of the Microsoft community and I'd love to assist you today.

I'll recommend you do a power cycle to clear the system cache

- Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

- Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 2 minutes.

- Plug the console power cable back in. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on and check if it's all good.

If that doesn't help, I'll suggest you try doing a factory reset keeping games and apps on your console. This will refresh the console and remove all potential bugs without deleting any game data.

- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

- Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

- Select Reset console.

- Choose Keep Games and Apps

Once that is done, you'll need to sign into the console using your Microsoft account credentials. If the issue is with your console, that should fix it.
