My XBOX SERIES X shuts off mid game while I am playing games Please help

I have it in a room that isn't cramped or small. It sits on a table with plenty of space for ventilation and air flow. I can barely complete 1 game without it just suddenly shutting off. One beep then shuts off. It feels very hot also when it shuts off. I have followed all the microsoft trouble shooting methods and the problem still persists. Do I just have a defective Xbox series X? It is still under warranty so unless there is a solution I will just be sending it back. I have even used a fan in the room to keep it more cool but it has not helped. My friend also has the exact same problem as me. I can't believe I payed 700 dollars for this system (I live in Canada) and I can't even play 1 game

Your system is shutting down to prevent data corruption after hitting an error

If you get no message about overheating, it's not an issue

High end electronics get hot, it is perfectly normal.Ever touch an incandescent light bulb? How hot those are? They use less than half the power of Series X

I don't think you understand what I am saying. While I am in the middle of an online game, it suddenly just stuts off. I hear the sound when it turns on, and it shuts off. Ironically when I turn it on with the control it no longer makes any sound. You are trying to tell me it is perfectly normal for my system to shut off mid game in the 1st of 2nd game I play. That is not normal at all.... Thankyou for the reply

I am having the same problem on Call of Duty Cold War Multi Player. My Series X console will shut down in the middle of game play. The controller remains on. Microsoft please help?

Thank you for responding to my dilemma. After following each of your steps in attempt to fixing my issue, I am still without resolution. My Xbox series X still continues to auto shut off when loading any game.

It runs fine while INSTALLING a game (over 45 minutes to install Destiny 2 X/S), it never auto shut down during that duration.

And while setting at home page or browsing through games and apps it does not auto shut off.

It is only when loading a game to start playing does it auto shut off... EVERY TIME, ANY GAME.

I sincerely thank you for your attempt at helping me though.

After looking online and seeing thousands upon thousands of exact similar issues from consumers world-wide, It is starting to look like Microsoft/Xbox simply put out a broken console for consumers to purchase! And now we consumers do not have ANY way to converse DIRECTLY with any form of Microsoft personnel for help.

Such a underhanded and cowardly move on Microsoft’s behalf!

I am having this same issue with the Xbox 1 X. Having the issue with the same game tonight but it has also been an issue while playing Borderlands 3. Also no error codes before or after the shut off. Game just freezes for about 10 seconds, party chat can
still be heard and then shut off.
