    My Xbox Series X is not turning on


    Since buying my Xbox Series X a few weeks ago I've been having trouble turning it on. Upon pressing the Power button it will light up and make the usual power-on noise, but then turn off after a few seconds. It often takes several attempts to turn on - last night it refused to turn on at all despite repeated attempts over the course of an hour.

    I have tried a full shutdown and a power reset to no avail, and tried multiple power sockets. Switching the console to instant-on from energy saver does seem to fix the issue, but I'm reluctant to leave it in this mode because of the high energy consumption.

    Is there a known fix for this or am I going to have to send it to Microsoft for a repair?

    Hi, Georges. Neither game mentioned above is listed as an XBox 360 game. I'm currently trying to play on my XBox One-X (my series X is going to have to go in for a warranty claim, as it's turning on, but not currently able to display a picture :( ).

    I believe that I had this happen with Spartan Runner on my Series X as well, and eventually I just gave up.
