    My Xbox series x has been having weird audio issues and has a really slow and glitchy...


    For the past week or so my Xbox has been having this thing where ill be playing a game and all of a sudden my game audio will start cutting out but only game audio and not party audio. During this time when I press the Xbox button on my controller it will take a long time to open the menu and will proceed to be very slow while switching between tabs then take a long time for me to go back into the game. I've tried resetting it, and I've tried cleaning it out, but nothing seems to work. Is there anything else I can try

    I'm sorry to hear about the issues you are facing with your Xbox and your controller. I understand you have already tried resetting it and cleaning it. How about updating both console and the controller? When you say you reset it, are you referring to the controller or the Xbox console?

    I would like you to try this:

    Press and hold the Xbox button on the console for 10 seconds until it turns off.

    Remove everything that is connected to the console

    Wait for 3 minutes then connect the Power cord and HDMI cable.

    Xbox has been a little bit glitchy for some reason. The updating for Xbox is slow sometimes, but I would have asked the same question as ImDrunky did.

    Logitech G923 broke games on Xbox One S

    This is really weird. Something has changed and I have no idea what. I only get time to play from a Friday afternoon so I haven't used my XBox and G923 since last weekend. Last weekend everything worked perfectly. I fire up Forza 5 today and the audio and game play is glitchy and lagging to the point of unusable. However I have F1 2020 and that is working fine.

    Was there an update of some sort that is causing this?
