    My xbox series x doesn't recognize xbox360 discs anymore


    It started 3 months ago I've tried shutting down my xbox formatting it using a different 360 disc nothing worked it doesn't even say its scratched/dirty it straight up doesn't even recognize the disc as a disc.

    Sorry to hear about your issue. Do you only get this error message when playing Xbox 360 discs?

    So this means my XBox360 and Xbox One discs are useless now as they will only work on the previous consoles and not the XBox Series S/X. Did I understand you correct?

    So I apparently just wasted my money for an Xbox Series X game…

    It is compatible with a Series X. It is not compatible with the One or a Series S since it doesn't have a disc drive.
    According to my Xbox Series X|S, the disc is “incompatible”, and I can only play a compatible version of it if I pay $62.99 for a new copy WITH EA Play.
