My Xbox series S is shutting down after 30 second of booting up a game

Inset the disc into your console. Shut down your console. Wait 30 seconds. Boot up your console. It should boot from disc

First thing to try would be a cold boot on the PC. Shut it completely down for 30 seconds then power it back up and try again. If that doesn't work try uninstalling/reinstalling the games.

I would delete the game (again) and then hold the Xbox button on the console until the it shuts down. Wait an additional 30 seconds or so then turn it back on. Once it's boots back up, try to install again. Hopefully that will help.

Random fixes might be your best bet.



So, my list of those!



Restore network settings to factory defaults, clear system cache, turn off console, remove harddrive, boot up without harddrive. Shut down, replace and connect to try again.



If you have a cable modem/coxial plugged in, it could be static on the line. Try shutting down the xbox, router and modem, unscrew the round coxial cable, hook up again after 30 seconds. Turn on just the modem, wait for it to boot up, turn on router (if
you have one), boot up and then turn on xbox. Try update again.

Happened to me after playing some of the TF beta. Had to power cycle the console to fix it. To power cycle whilst the console is turned on press and hold the power button on the front of the console for 8 seconds the console will shut down wait 30 seconds
then press the button on again. the console should boot back up and work fine
