    My Xbox Series S is not turning on!


    I was not using it for few months and when I tried to turn it on to play something, it simply doesn’t turn on! The LED light of the power button flashes quickly, and nothing happens. It’s the THIRD TIME that this happens and the technician said that this is very common in this device. He said that it could be accumulated dust or something simple like this. But the service costs around $ 60 (here in Brazil, around R$ 300). Does anyone knows about this kind of problem and what I can do to prevent it, so that I do not spend this money every time?

    Turns out it was somehow trying to connect to either the xbox one s or xbox series s consoles in my house for some reason. Turning them off fixed it.

    Sidenote: In all my experiences with wireless xbox controllers (xbox 360, xbox one, xbox series x/s) the sync button needs to be held to be put into pairing mode (quarter ring rotating clockwise /flashing xbox logo), while the button on the console needs a single press, if it helps anyone.
