my xbox series s is broken, what do i do?

I have had my Xbox Series S for less than a year, and now when I play a game, the the screen goes black every 10 seconds then reappears. I'd like to ship my unit to Microsoft for repair, how do I go about doing this?

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

You can still ship it to Microsoft but there will be an out of warranty charge. For you to check you can simply visit this link: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-ne...

Also, kindly try to perform troubleshooting steps such as resetting the console keeping your games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

For what it's worth I do think there will be a Series S and Series X and then like they said just call it Xbox from here on out.
