My Xbox Series S controller disconnects sometimes

I bought my console some weeks ago and I started to play with rechargeable batteries but there was a point where the controller disconnected (the batteries had energy yet). Then I decided to play with a cable and it happened again, although different this time... The buttons didn't react but the guide button's light was on. *Both devices are updated.* I appreciate your help.

i have same issue

Xbox Series S controller freezes and disconnects but the light on the controller stays on,
The problem happened to me a lot and the batteries are new, and i did power cycle, The device and the control were updated

It works fine for me, but my controller has a loose battery pack and it sometimes disconnects when I double tap it :s
