My xbox seems to be dead.. tried verything..

ok, so first of all, I've had this thing for a number of years..

last night everything worked fine, today I turn my xbox one on.. and don't even get to the guide.. "try again in a while" with a close box on the bottom.. cant sign in, and clicking the close box just pops up the same thing. "try again in a while"

(after doing the power down reset ritual several time)

I unplugged my router, turned the xbox one on again with a game in it and I got pretty much the same thing except this time I got an error code to bring here.. and a close box again, that just keeps repeating the same "tray again in a while" thing

the error code is 0x800070490 which xbox.com doesn't seem to have any record of.

I'm about to go buy a new xbox, but if someone knows how to remedy this please let me know..

Online parental control settings

try going to the parental senttings and turn them once you have done so give access to verything and it should work.

 

I played them all and this one is the worst!!!

Tried Dead Silence on an SMG class last night and it did seem to work for me

Have you tried disconnecting your system from power for 30 seconds or doing a factory reset?

 

It might have fully went out.

Thank you for bringing this situation to our attention here on the forums. I understand that you're having trouble with your console booting up is that correct? I recommend you try a Soft Factory Reset. (Restore to factory defaults and keep your Games
and Apps) You may have to access the feature by manually going to the troubleshoot screen

1. Unplug the network cable if you're using a wired network connection.
2. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.
   
3. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.
4. Press and hold the BIND button (located on the left side of the console) and the
   EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the
   Xbox button on the console.
5. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.
   
6. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the
   BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

Then you can go to Reset console and select the keep my games and apps options.

Note: You will need your Microsoft Account Email and Password to recover your profile after the reset.
