My Xbox scrolls by itself

Mine is doing the EXACT same thing

Hey modell. That is quite odd. So it does this even if you turn on the console with no controllers connected? Have you tried removing your HDD (if you have one) to see if that helps? If you are able to navigate to the Settings, I would also suggest you clear
your cache and redownload your profile.

Yea this is odd.It could be the actual controller itself doing it.try taking apart the controller and making sure the joysticks and the bumpers arent obstructed by anything.the mini button on the inside may be stuck down or your joystick could be leaning
to the side to much.Hope this helps !!

If it is still doing it then with out the controller plugged in, reset your xbox.

this way if the controller is the cause it wont affect the programming.

Mine did that too so I tried the trick above and it didn't do it again till I plugged in my controller and of course one I unplugged it, it kept trying to scroll.

got a new controller and hasn't happened since.

Have you tried using another controller?

It might be an issue with the controller's analog sticks.

Please, reset your controller pairing.

To unpair it, press and hold the pair button on top of the controller for a few seconds until it vibrates twice.

Remove the batteries, wait for a few seconds, and reinsert them.

Once this is done, try to pair it again.

Turn on your controller by pressing and holding the Xbox button.

Press and release the Pair button on the Xbox Console.

Within 20 seconds, press and hold the controller’s Pair button (a circular button on top of the controller as you hold it in your hands) until the controller's Xbox button flashes a few times.

That means it's searching for a console.

The Xbox button stays lit once it's connected.
