My xbox says I need to buy gold to play online but my gold shouldn't run out until june

If all is well there then try removing your profile and reloading it.

So this isn't really to the console but I have no xbox live gold on my account, it ran out, so I bought a 12 Month Gold membership and all it says is I already have a gold membership which makes no sense because it won't let me play online and my gold did
run out.....I need help

same problem , i bought a year subscription it should run out on the 5th of next month but i can play mp and watch netflix but if i try and play any of my gold games it sends me to buy xbox live and under subcriptions there is no info anymore just the option
to buy gold . That is messed because live is working if i can play the crew and titanfall and halo online but i cant play my gold games it just keeps saying to purchase it .

He does have gold. I think its something with my xbox because he can play online fine but even when I’m on his account on my xbox it says I need to buy gold membership.

You shouldn't need the online pass now as EA have phased it out but you will need an XBOX live gold membership to play online.
