    My Xbox Rechargeable + Battery USB-C Cable Won't Charge My Series S Controller


    So I bought the official Xbox Rechargeable Battery + USB-C Cable about 2 weeks ago and It won't charge unless I let the battery drain completely. It stops at about 30 percent and does not fully charge.

    I've tried the following troubleshooting:

    -Hard Reset

    -Tested the USB port.

    -Tested the controller with regular batteries and it worked

    -Controller works with limited power remaining on the rechargeable pack

    -Controller works while plugged in

    -Tested different USB C cable and it still did NOT work

    Any ideas?

    the plug n play charge battery is the same for both, it is the charging cable that is different. the series x version comes with a USB C cable and the standard xbox one comes with a micro usb cable.

    i couldnt get the usb c version for my series controller so i just bought the xbox one version and use a third party usb c cable for charging.
