My Xbox really hot!!!!!

My xbox gets really hot when i play games only and the cooling fan will not speed up to cool it down im scared it might start a fire is there a way to fix this without overclocking my fan?

There is no system setting to manually adjust the fan speed.

Generally, the Xbox will overheat if it's located in a spot with poor ventilation (cramped shelf spaces, objects covering it, etc) and/or near something else that generates heat (TV, lamps, radiators, etc). If the console is dusty, go ahead and wipe the
dust off. All holes and vents on the console are needed for air circulation. If you have the original Xbox One model, the external power brick will need the same treatment too, as that also has a cooling fan.

My son does really good with eating. He likes stuff somewhat "hot" ......like a crushed red pepper hot.

The 360 slims get really hot if you game on them for long periods, my play sessions are 6-10 hours each and mine gets really hot (star wars version) however i also own a 250gb black 360 as well and that doesn't get very hot, but it is newer than my main
one.

yes i always go for full shutdown and unplug the power supply. just for reference we are around 30 to 35 degrees celcius daily were im at (somedays 40+ celcius) just want to know if this amount of heat on the console is normal the heat is concentrated on
top of the console were the fan is i pressume. the bottom part of the console is hot as well but not nearly as much. i have the xbox 360 and it would shut down on me only in the summer in autum winter and spring it works well but even when the 360 shut down
it did not feel nearly as hot as my xbox one does right now.
