When you get a console repaired they usually notify you if nothing was wrong or what should have been repaired. It's usually included in an e-mail of some sort of even in the package when you receive it back.

Have you tried to use the console in a different location (other than your own home, like a friends)? I'm just curious, because we did have a case where someone's electrical outlets in their homes were affecting their console in some way. If you've checked
that, and this sort of issue is still going on I urge you to get into contact with Xbox Support via phone with your previous reference number and discuss your options with
them.

If older xbox with power brick u might want to purchase new one might be failing

It seems as you XBox is over heated. .It is summer time it is more hot than norm.. Give a 3 hour rest.. Add a big metal fan over it during game play.
