Why does my xbox shut it's self of every few hours plz tell me

Xbox 360 Slim Randomly Beeps and Shuts off, and randomly turns on.

Less than a Month old,

It will be on the Dash, in a game, in a Video APP, it will randomly beep and shut it self off.

If I leave it for a few minutes it will randomly power on by it self,

the unit feels warm, but it's cooler now than what it was weeks ago when it was new.

Unit also seems to be resetting to 480p mode.

Sounds like the power brick is bad. Here are some steps to try. There are a couple of links on the page to request a repair as well.

first make sure it is securely connected, to do this please unplug it and then firmly plug it back in. you may be simply losing power from an unsecured connection to your adapter. also please make sure it is in a well ventilated area and occasionally cleaned
of dust bunnies.
