My xbox randomly disconnects from xbox live and i need a solution.

Whenever I'm trying to play an online game I am always interrupted by my Xbox live cutting out which causes me to lose the games and even getting banned. It is becoming a major issue and games are becoming unplayable. The issue is not with my internet because this is the only device it happens on. I cant play a game more than 5 minutes without getting kicked, It is worse at night. If anyone has any information that can help me at all please tell me, I just want to have fun after a long day.
