    My xbox party sounds really bad


    When I try to join or create an Xbox party, the audio becomes bad and muffled, as if I'm underwater. I am on PC and have Beats Solo 3 Bluetooth Headphones and use the mic on my face camera. I've tried changing the input and output devices to the order I want them and I still have this issue.

    Here is a clip of what the audio is like. In this video, I record how things sound before I join the Xbox party, while I'm in the party, and after I leave the Xbox party and my audio going back to normal.

    Oh, I see
    If possible please try using a different headset, can be a friend's headset
    Or if you're using the beats wireless right now, get a 3.5mm jack cable

    In the meantime I can advise you reinstall your wifi/Bluetooth driver from the manufacturer site
    Do you know which Bluetooth version your PC have?
    (Example, Bluetooth 2.1, 4.2, 5.0 etc)

    So, now you have as a default input and output the devices you want, right?

    Please verify that "push to talk" is not enabled on game bar

    Please also double check if you have audio enhancements enabled, if yes disable it.

    Unfortunately, I broke the headset that i prefer so these beats are the only headphones I have right now. Also, I never tried my last my last headset in an Xbox party so I don't know if I would've had the same issue.

    Buddy, and are you able to test with another headset to see if maybe there's an issue with your Beats headphones?
    (Or if you're able, connect the headphones directly with a 3.5mm jack cable)

    By the way, is this the first time you used the headphones? Or before the headphones worked normally?
