    My Xbox Part chat is not working on my PC


    I have had an issue with my xbox party chat app on my PC. One day it was working and now it is not.

    Every app works fine when communicating it just seems to be this app.

    Things I have checked:

    Game Bar - Picks up the mic input in gamebar but just not the xbox app.
    Xbox App - Reset, uninstalled, audio profiles etc...
    Audio Drivers - All are up to date

    Restarting PC

    Nothing seems to be working for this app, I have no idea what the issue is. If anyone could help that would be amazing.

    Is there any error message that you can share?

    Please use the Microsoft Gaming Repair Tool for Xbox App, this tool detects and automatically repairs error found on your system. Please download and install it using this link then run it as administrator.

    If it's still not working after the repair, I would recommend that you try a different headset or microphone just to rule out any possible issues with your headset.

    Hi, since we now know you've recently had a communications ban, it's possible that you're being affected by a glitch in the system which stops recently banned players from being able to communicate after their ban has been lifted.

    The enforcement team are working on a fix.

    Also where it says 'Case Review Status' it is currently blank. Does this mean I'm still banned? The process is very vague tbh, I wasn't given a date on my Xbox ONE but on my Xbox 360 it said I had been banned from communications until 21/10/2015.
