    This started after I found my old Xbox in a old case it looked good and for a few hours it looked good but it needed to update so I let it update and left the room but when I came back everything was off and the Xbox won't turn on my dad and I tried to fix it but none of the thing online we saw worked I really need help.

    May I ask what Xbox console you have?

    Also, make sure that it is plugged in directly on a wall socket.

    I have a Xbox One S and it was plugged into a extension cord before and then we tried a actual wall socket and was still having the same problem.

    Thank you so much for that. Is there an external hard drive plugged into your console? A corrupted hard drive may cause issues as well.

    If none, I apologize but the console needs to be repaired. You can check the warranty status as well as create an order via https://account.microsoft.com/devices.
