My xbox one

I woke up with this computer start up type noise coming from my xbox one. Then just to check it out, I turned it on and my xbox made me do like a xbox set up, like if it was new. But good news, it did not erase any game downloads or achievements but did
erase my account off of there. "Should I be worried about it? "... (Please Help)

Again I wouldn't class peering around corners as something specific to Kinect, I'm not sure what game does that on X1 so I don't know if it can be done on PS4 .

I'm not judging its usefulness I agree it is very useful, the voice controls seem to work very well for example, and I take on board what your saying about never having used it but I can form an opinion on what I've seen and read.

If by semantics you mean you accused him of saying something he didn't then fair enough,,,,, I call it building a straw man.

 

I had the same thing happen to me, I turned my Xbox One S on and it acted like a new console. I have had it since launch.

 

same thing happened to me today and it has done it twice now when i turn it off, I turn it back on and it starts fresh all over again

 

Same here. I can't get in though. Forgot password and the random letter/number verification to reset isn't working.

 

Same thing here, on both consoles.

 

Same thing here. Setup it up entirely again this morning, turned it off, came back two hours later and turned on and have to go through entire setup again.

Something must be going on, can't be coincidence we're all running into this at once.

Yeah this just started happening to me today as well too. It sets up fine, does an update, & seems to work for a while.

I just connected via the XBOX app & renamed it to the name I used to have, it made me to do the restart, & then it immediately went back to "factory reset" mode...

What in the heck is going on?

 

And I just noticed that some of my game content doesn't appear to be properly registering anymore either... Hopefully they get this all sorted out soon.
