    My Xbox one X

I have been in touch with 2 Gamer's and been given advice, the problem is that I need permission from God Almighty to actually speak to a human about this problem. I do hope that there are some Technicians that can get this Xbox One X sent somewhere and
    it gets replaced.

This is what has happened over the past 3 months:

I purchased a New Xbox One X on 29 November 2019. As I only play about 3 times a week restricting myself to about 3 hours at a time, it was fine for a few weeks, then it became slow when loading games and kept freezing and making a strange
noise. I did what I had been doing with previous consoles or with the Sky TV box, closed everything down, unplugged the console and then started it again. This usually works, it only lasted for a short time. I then contacted xbox on the phone 08005871102,
went through the usual long drawn out procedures with the technician and it appeared to be OK. Then again contacted Xbox and I went through the usual tests, unplugging from the mains and then I factory reset the box, it appeared to go OK for a short while.
My wife and I went to the USA for several weeks over Christmas, our Daughter lives in Opelika, Alabama. We came back home and my Xbox was still playing up, I kept avoiding it, I was informed that I had to reset it again and that appeared OK for a very short
while. I used to avoid playing on it as it was annoying all the freezes and long waits. The Corona virus then started and eventually I got onto an online chat, it was a Microsoft Answer Tech call Adame H. Having explained everything, I was told that I should
not have had to put up with all the troubles as it appears your Xbox has a serious problem, I thought then, someone actually knows what to do. He said I should send it by itself with no cable and I should factory re-set it, which I did. He also said that
they would more than likely send you a new Xbox One X. It was Wednesday evening on 22 April 2020. Without any hesitation I was emailed a Postage label for the Xbox to be sent to Frankfurt, Germany.

The Xbox was picked up the following day, Thursday 23 April 2020 by UPS. It arrived in Frankfurt on Monday 27 April. I was expecting a new Xbox replacement. On Tuesday 5th May 2020 I received an Xbox that had a sticker on the
back that I am assuming replaced the original Identification Details.

The details on this returned Xbox was:

    Service Date 29-April-2020

    Product ID: 11680311049717193417.

I went through the usual setting it up, not a problem. Played on it, Wednesday and Thursday, however, today being Friday 8th May I was on it this morning, everything was going fine, suddenly the sound disappeared and there was a
slight juddering when I moved the character and every few seconds there was a sort of BIP, at first I thought it was just that, I realised it appeared to be the sound was just a fraction, that is why at first I thought the sound had gone. It sounded like
a problem with the background sound, there was none just the BIP. The freezing did not help and the slight judder of the character. I did what I usually do. Closed down, unplugged the game and restarted it after a couple of minutes. Initially it appeared
to be OK, but within a few minute after the start, it started to do the same as before.

I sent this away expecting it to be replaced, or at the minimum be repaired fully. I was surprised when it quickly turned up on Tuesday 5th May. I was not notified of what had been done to the console or that it had been repaired
or informed that it had been posted with no date to expect it. I am not happy at all. It was as if when it got to the Technicians, they just tried it and it appeared to work so they sent it back. I would have liked to know what the problem was. On all
the occasions that I have had to reset that Xbox, it has always been fine for a short period of time.

I had also changed the HDMI cable, just in case it was that, there is nothing wrong with any of my connections. I am hard wired to my router, I have Fibre everything is fine, I have had Xbox’s for many years now and I have never had this much
trouble with all the other’s..It is the console that is faulty and it should have been sorted out when it was sent away. I would now like a refund as it appears that someone is not doing their job.

This morning< Saturday 9th May 2020 I got up early and started up the Xbox and it was still faulty with the same problems as the day before, so once again I decided to reset the xbox and try it then. After the usual procedures of
signing in, it appears to be working although it did take its time. I was not going to chance it so I played for a while and then turned it off. I am not happy with this Xbox One X Console and I would like you to replace it for a either BRAND NEW one or
replace it for the latest Xbox Series X or a full refund as I am not at all happy with the repair that was supposedly carried out.

I am 69 and have relied on my Xbox’s a lot over the years. This has been my worst experience and I am not happy.

Hello, I'm Armand and I'm an Xbox Gamer let me help you with this issue

Hi Jamie so the Xbox WA sent for repairs correct?

    · Yes

    · I have done that so many times since purchasing this Xbox One X and as far as I can see it was the biggest mistake I ever did since selling my other Xbox to upgrade to the Xbox One X. I did what you said above again
since getting the so-called returned repaired Xbox back last Tuesday. I believe that when I sent it off (in factory reset this time) they must have switched it on and thought there is nothing wrong with it and sent it back to me without any explanation as
to what they had done. They did not even let me know that they had posted it. This morning< Saturday 9th May 2020 I got up early and started up the Xbox and it was still faulty with the same problems as the day before, so once again I decided to reset the
xbox and try it then. After the usual procedures of signing in, it appears to be working although it did take its time. I was not going to chance it so I played for a while and then turned it off. I am not happy with this Xbox One X Console and I would like

It always appears to be OK for a short while. After the reset, I also noticed that the Console felt really hot at the rear. Before you ask I have had Xbox (2001),

Xbox 360 (2005), Xbox 360 (2010), Xbox One (2015) and the Xbox One X (2019). The only serious trouble is with this Xbox One X (2019) purchased November 2019. Every time I called or spoke to the customer service people I am told the same thing do this, do that
and fter each time I have done things, the only thing that fixes it (Temporarily) is that reset, and keep my games. I know this procedure and every time I chat or talk to someone they tell me same thing. One person Adame H sent me a return postage label as
he said that it was serious and no one should have to put up with that, he also said that I should factory set the console before posting and do not send any cables. Technical always have to follow a guideline procedure when anyone has a problem with their
console, so every time I speak or chat to someone new, I have to go through the same procedure and it is now getting so annoying people saying the same thing like, have do, this do that, have you done this, send me a copy of the disk etc, etc, etc. Why can
they not accept that this console is a total load of **** and need replacing or give me a refund and I will buy another make,

The console can be replaced if the tecs determine its necessary, I understand how you feel but we need to wait for the console to return

    · I sent it on the 23 April 2020 and it was returned to me on 5 May 2020 there was no explanation what was wrong, On Thursday 7 May it started to jump, appeared ro keep rewinding a fraction of a second and freezing.
No sound except a blip ever second. I then reset the Console again and it appears to be working, but for how long???? I am going to take it back to Argos as soon as possible as no one seems to be bothered about the **** I have had to endure over these past
months. I do not want to keep something that is obviously ****, no matter how many so-called Tech expert keep getting me to rest this and that and keep making out it must be my fault. When it was sent away I should have been informed that it was repaired or
replace. I was not told anything, they just sent it back with no explanation.

What you can do in this case Jamie is to request a callback from an agent, it can be done through the automated system, it will ask you for your Xbox serial number and your contact info

    · they put a sticker on the xbox dated 29 April Product ID: 11680311049717193417 posted that day. There was a letter that was in the returned Xbox it said: Thank you for your patience during this process. Please accept
our apology for an inconvenience you may have experienced. We've put this through extensive hardware testing, and have reset the software to its original factory setting, ensuring that it's ready to delivery nothing but the best gaming and entertainment experience
Xbox is known for. then there was something about, just simply reconnect and setup your Xbox. There and nothing else, except Sincerely The Xbox Customer Service Team Because of the Pandemic I cannot actually speak to a human, so when I go on a chat page (Eventually)
I am taken through the usual processes and it is frustrating that the person can sometime say wait a moment so that they can speak to the engineer, this is a long an tiring process and I have been through it all before and there is no one that is interested
in sorting this problem out. I am 69 at home alone for the majority of the time and because of my arthritis and diabetes I cannot play on my Xbox continuously like the younger generation because I get motion sickness. Basically this is a pleasure I used to
enjoy. I Only play Third Person Games. I have every one of the Assassins Creed, Lara Croft Games, and I have recently purchased games Red Dead and The Witcher because these are all third person games. Each time before the Xbox was sent away and after its return
I had reset the Xbox, immediately after resetting it works fine for a short period. I was told to factory reset the box before posting, so when they got it an tried it it would have been OK. I believe that they then just sent it back to me. I do not know what
sort of rigorous testing they do in Germany, but it did not show them the faults. I also have my own theory, when I was resetting the Xbox this last Saturday 9 May 2020, it felt very hot at the back were I disconnected the cables, I believe that it could have
    something to do with overheating!!

Yes the games you mentioned usually requires all Xbox capabilities hence it can cause overheating if the console is old is dirty it is faulty

    · Request a call back does not exist because of the Pandemic, I have tried on many, many occasions to no avail. They are not doing call backs because of the Pandemic. That is why I put this out to Gamer's to see if
they can help. Maybe I should take advice from my next door neighbor that I should BIN IT.

    · My Xbox was purchased on 29 November 2019. That is not OLD.

    · I was in the US for 4 weeks over Christmas and New Year. It appears that I have had nothing but trouble with a new Xbox One X.

I cannot email anyone as there are no contact email's for these people, I cannot call anyone as there is no one taking calls. What can I do?

    Xbox Series X thoughts?

With the Xbox One X you'll be safe to wait well after launch to buy the new Series X.

They've already said that launch games like Halo Infinite will also be launched for Xbox One consoles.

I've had my Xbox One X for over a year. I plan to buy the Xbox Series X for my main television and then move my Xbox One X to my living room television as my secondary console.
