My xbox one x works but dont.

Please check the following points:

• Confirm that both your TV and console are turned on
  
• Check that your TV is set to the correct input signal (HDMI)
  
• Check that the HDMI cable connections to your console and to your TV are secure
  
• Check that the HDMI cable is connected to the "out to TV" port on the console
  
• Try plugging the HDMI cable into a different HDMI port on your TV
  
• Try using a different HDMI cable to connect your console to your TV
  
• Try connecting your console to a different TV
  
• Power cycle your console: Press and hold the Xbox button for 10 seconds to turn off the console, and then turn it on again
  

If the issue persists, try resetting your display settings

1. If there's a disc in the console, eject it.
   
2. On the console, press and hold the Xbox button for 10 seconds to turn off the console.
   
3. Press and hold the Xbox button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You’ll hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep. Don’t let go until you hear the second beep or see the console start up in low resolution mode (the Xbox startup screen will appear slightly pixelated).
   
   • Note If you have an Xbox Series S or Xbox One S All-Digital Edition, you’ll need to press and hold the Xbox button and the Pair button instead, as your console does not have an Eject button.
     
4. In either case, this will start up your console in low resolution mode (640 × 480). To change this setting, press the Xbox button to open the guide. Go to Profile & system > Settings > General > TV & display options, and then select the resolution you want from the Display dropdown.
   
5. If you’re required to complete these steps on every startup, you’ll want to change your TV connection to HDMI as shown in step 3 of the next section, "Your screen is blank and you use an AVR in your setup." For more info, see How to adjust the display settings on your Xbox.
   

If the issue persists, I believe that your device needs to be serviced. To request service, follow the instruction on this link Xbox Support and submit a service order.

Yes by reset it i mean factory wiped it. But what i dont understand is that my other backwards compatibile games work and the two games work on my old xbox one, but for whatever reason they dont work on my almost brand new xbox one X, which is suppose
to be better.

Personally I dont not have a Sidewinder FF joystick or steering wheel for the xbox one.

If the equipment works for your older Xbox console then it should work with the newer Xbox One X, without issue. Also, I aplogize if my information is incorrect.

if its the original xbox one then it is no longer supported, they dont even make them anymore, they dont make xbox one x and xbox one s digital anymore.

must be just bad luck, i still have my original day one 2013 xbox one and it works perfectly. and it has had some hammer, owned by me then my boys then as a temp in front room.

Please dont take offence here but it sounds like your suggesting the best bet to get a one x in perfect working order is to purchase from microsoft direct or use warranty for replacement , you dont recommend me to take the 5th one X back to retailer for
exchange to my 6th one x in 13 months , any suggestions
