My Xbox one X won’t play any movies I own from the store

I had this same a few months ago. None of the troubleshooting techniques worked then and they’re not working now. They had to internally escalate the problem in order to solve it and it still took 2 extra days. Now its happening again and i cant play any
movies. They show up on the pc when i log into my account there and they show up on my xbox but the minute i hit play it throws the error code 0x8004b822 and the text reads: Can’t play. Can’t check usage rights. Check internet access and restart the app. My
internet is fine and all the status checks give a big OK and Xbox live says its ok. Is this just gonna keep happening to my xbox every few months where i have to have someone at xbox fix something internally on microsoft’s end? Why does this happen?! Is there
something that triggers this to happen?

This error code is normally related to the apps needing an update.

Can you go to your My Games & Apps and click on updates to confirm if you have any pending updates.

If you do not please try the Xbox Assist app as this is a great tool to help.

Yes. And it downloaded but only the COD for series x. Only one game shows in my games. The red mask season 4. And it won’t load. Takes me to store and then says I own it.

I have tried deleting the movie from my movie list, and re-adding it with the Movies & TV app in the settings, tried a full shutdown of the console and TV itself, tried other movies in my library(they ALL play just fine on my xbox) im only having a problem
with this movie I just bought (Cars 3 + BONUS) on my Xbox One X. It will play fine on my iphone from the Movies Anywhere though.... but im not trying to watch it on my phone

if i cant get it to work on the xbox then ill need to request a refund... any other
ideas???

Why does my Xbox series x 87 days old not play any disc whatsoever ?? Won’t play Xbox one game Xbox 360 dvd or Blu-ray won’t play anything it’s the 5th Xbox on the spin to do this ? What’s going on with these crappy drives and power mode ( Microsoft won’t admit there’s a massive problem with their disc drives ! That’s facts

YouTube has like 50 videos of people not being able to play a game they own on disc I think I’ll get full refund and buy PS5 no way will a Sony product not read discs

Have you already tried doing a factory reset and deleting everything as well? Thanks!
