My Xbox One X will not scroll down in dashboard menus.

Tried to play COD Black Ops Cold War this morning but I couldn't join my friends chat room.
Also in the game I could not aim with any weapon.
However I could go into the game settings and scroll all over the menu tabs.
I changed to my old Scorpion Xbox controller and I'm having the same issue.
Read some of the forums about this dashboard glitch and tried everything suggested. Power cycle, reboot, etc...
I could not scroll down to the Xbox system settings menu to reset console so I ended up trying a factory reset from a special reboot method.

Same problem exists.,

Not sure where to go from here. Sure wish the Xbox one Series X was available at a normal price.

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated,

This only happens when I use the Microsoft Elite 2 controller.

And if I turn on another Xbox controller at the same time it does the same thing.

However if I reboot with the Xbox One X controller it works fine.

My controllers work fine in game menus etc.

I really thinks it the Xbox one X.

I already reset the Xbox and that didn’t fix it.

I’m so frustrated right now.

If you haven't already, I would suggest trying to clear the local save for the game, check last step in this page: Troubleshoot game issues on Xbox | Xbox Support

If the issue persists, try to reach out to Activision through: https://support.activision.com for potential workarounds!

Try clearing your console Cache

1) Go to the "My Xbox" menu in the dashboard.

2) Scroll over to "System Settings" and press the X button.

3) Select "Memory" from the "System Settings" menu.

4) Scroll down to your storage device and then press Y.

5) Select "Clear System Cache".

Guys, I'm not 100% positive this will work, but it's always worth a try(fixed my problems):

Try clearing your console Cache

1) Go to the "My Xbox" menu in the dashboard.

2) Scroll over to "System Settings" and press the X button.

3) Select "Memory" from the "System Settings" menu.

4) Scroll down to your storage device and then press Y.

5) Select "Clear System Cache".
