My Xbox One X will not let me set it as my home Xbox.

I recently factory reset my Xbox one x, and when I went to set it up again it wont let me set it as my home Xbox again. I've tried soft resetting multiple times, I've tried hard resetting multiple times, I've even tried factory resetting multiple times. I've tried logging out and back in, I've tried removing the account and adding it to the Xbox again. I've tried setting a different accounts home Xbox to the Xbox. I've tried resetting the mac address, I've tried restarting my internet router, I've tried using both a hardwired and a Wi-Fi connection. I even tried using the hotspot on my phone. I've tried everything I could possibly think of. I even tried changing the location on my Xbox cause I read that worked for someone. But nothing has worked. I don't understand what the problem is. Am i missing something?

I’m having this same issue. From what I see it’s an error on behalf of Microsoft, I really do hope there working on a fix for this

This is a outage Microsoft is having right now. Other users are having the same issue today. They're trying to set Xbox as the Home Xbox and it's not working. They tried to remove and add the account again, tried to add another account to the console and even tried to factory reset Xbox and still nothing. After checking the box, it will just load and then get unchecked again, same issue as you:

Microsoft is aware of it and will probably fix it soon. Pleae wait a few hours and it should be solved.

Also, you said you changed the location of your Xbox. Please don't change the country/region to one you're not living in since it might cause your account to get banned. Stay safe.

Thanks for the info. I heard Microsoft had been having some problems but I thought they would have figured it out by now.

Are you offline? Is the Series X your home Xbox?

No my Xbox series x is online and on the same network as my Xbox one and my Xbox series x is set as my home Xbox
