My XBOX One X shut down and now it's not turning on.

Hi,

Last month I purchased a XBOX One X from US and now I am in India. Till yesterday my XBOX One X was working fine but suddenly it shut down and now I am trying to power on it but failed to turn it on.

This issue is so frustrating.

I am not getting any valid solution as some thread suggesting to use another power cable, but using third party power cable will violate warrently. So, Please suggest me solution.

Xbox One X - System shuts down with no warning.

Hi,

I have been on to support and I am currently in the process of trying a few things.

In short my Xbox One X shuts down while playing a game.

I started my Xbox (wireless connection) and immediately started to download/install 'Tera' from the store.

I then started to play Isle of Man TT and I did not get far before the console shut down. No notice, could not have been heat, it was only on 5 mins.

Tried again, almost immediately the console shut down. By now I am concerned, so I paused the download and tried another game, this time Burnout paradise remastered and that played ok.

Tried TT and again it failed!!

Contacted support, who advised a clean start and that is where I am now, reinstalling so stuff.

I have also connected to network using a cable...

Has anyone else had random Xbox One X shut downs?

X box will not power up

So my Xbox shut down in the middle of a game last night and would not turn back on. I thought it and just overheated a bit so I let it cool, cleaned my fan and then was able to watch Netflix for a wile later that night. This morning it would not trun on.
I played with the power cord a bit it made its im happy to be turning on sound got to the green loading screen and shut down angain and will not power back on. Can anyone recommend what I should try next? Other than preorder a Xbox one X.

System is a day one addition warranty is long expired.

I am having the same issue. I am on my 5th xbox one x. You have yo power cycle your xbox. Unplug it from the console wait ten seconds then plug it back in.

my xbox has now just shut itself down and wont turn back on..... this is getting bad.

I have an Xbox One X downstairs and my One S Is upstairs as a media player. Every now and then if I shut off the X and go upstairs and turn on the S it won't quite grab on to live without a restart. As others said, just a restart, odds are good you are
okay.

Can you try performing a power cycle on your Xbox?

To do this:

For Series X|S

- Open Settings on Xbox.

- Select the General tab.

- Click on Power Options.

- Under the “Options” section, click the “Shutdown now” option.

- Click the “Shut down” button.

For Xbox One

Go to the Home screen.

Press the Menu button on the controller.

Select Settings.

Go to Sleep Mode & Start-Up

Select Turn Off/ Full Shut Down.

Once done, power up the console and see if the issue continues.
