My Xbox One X is frozen on dashboard

When I turned on my Xbox One X I was stuck on the dashboard and could not move with the controller.

make sure its working and connecting with your xbox plug on the cable and check for the controller update

I've been having the same issue. On Xbox One X it gets stuck/freezes on loading. After several attempts I left it on the frozen loading screen.. after 10 mins it loads in correctly.

May I ask how you stayed on the frozen loading screen? Ten seconds after freezing on my Xbox One X the game just quits out. I cant stay on the frozen screen for long.

No problem at all, I'm glad it helped! Just remember, ANY time you run into an issue, one of the first things to try is this "hard reset" or "power cycle" option. For some weird reason, it fixes a LOT of issues (network problems, games misbehaving, etc.!)

Hello Annie! I am so sorry to hear you're having this issue, freezes can be quite frustrating. Let me first ask, have you hard-power-cycled your console? To do this, you will hold the white Power Sensor on the front of the console for 8-10 seconds, then
wait for the light on the power supply to turn solid orange. THEN, unplug your console for 5-10 minutes, plug it back in, and start back up. You should be back up and running when you try this!
