    My Xbox one x gets stuck on a grey screen after start up


    This has happened to me before and I managed to solve the problem but none of the solutions work this time. I have tried to:

    - Use a different tv

    - Reset the xbox

    - Hard reset the xbox

    - Reset the display

    - Use a different HMDI cable

    - Unplug every single cable and plug them back in

    The startup plays but it's stuck in the low resolution mode because I tried resetting the display. After loading for a while, the screen turns grey. When I press the xbox button on my controller, the grey screen lights up slightly and when I hold it down, the menu with "Turn Off", "Reset", and "Turn Off Controller" pops up but the grey background is still behind it. I receive no audio from my headset either.

    I keep on trying the same solutions over and over again but to no avail. It could be that my xbox is bust or something.

    Hello there, unfortunately after three times of flawless booting up the issue has returned.

    After spending a very long time on the grey screen with the white circle spinning, I am now stuck at the profile selection screen trying to sign into Xbox Live.

    Any advice is very welcome!

    I've been having the same issue. On Xbox One X it gets stuck/freezes on loading. After several attempts I left it on the frozen loading screen.. after 10 mins it loads in correctly.
    May I ask how you stayed on the frozen loading screen? Ten seconds after freezing on my Xbox One X the game just quits out. I cant stay on the frozen screen for long.
