My Xbox one X Died, Powers up for 30 secs then shuts off

My Console was in Power save mode while i was away for Christmas, i came home to find the Fans had started up and were blowing hard, i have tried many solutions to fix this including the factory reset USB option with no luck. I paid a lot of money for this
console a year or two ago to have this happen.

Anyone have any other suggestions apart from smashing it up with a hammer and throwing it out of the window?

Did an update install while i was away and this has messed it up beyond repair?

I will not waste money to buy a replacement as this was my 2nd that has broke one me since the LAUNCH, first one broke coz of a faulty HDMI port.

On Console start this happens. Power light turns on for 30 secs approx...no display, then shuts down. i have tried the BIND, EJECT, POWER button option then BIND, EJECT options with USB inserted with updater.xvd file i got from the xbox site...and to make
matters even worse the warranty has run out.

Please help thanks as i dont know what to do coz i cannot even get web chat assistance either

They want £236 to get mine fixed had mine a year and 2 months beyond a joke when its updates which messes up your consoles ..there shouldnt have to pay ....reminds me of 360 back in the day breaking down all the while

i have no display, so no error codes, will try again the plug into the wall option, cant try factory reset with no display...however i read factory reset option with USB...but i do not know if this has to be done in FAT32 or NTFS GPT or MBR partitions as
Microsoft dont explain this in their Guides. my USB sticks are 3.0 an d i have tried to use the front USB and rear USB sockets.

Is there any chance the Hard drive has died? If so..is there anyway as the warranty has expired to install a new drive and repair the console myself? like add the OS to the new drive?

This is just an idea to rule out the HDD has malfunctioned, or something else off my check list.

Those steps didnt work at all, still had to wait for power to come on to the console before the Xbox sign would light up, also it dont stay on for more than 10 seconds

do you get any error codes? are you plugged directly to the main wall or to an extension? sometimes an extension will limit the power supplied to devices.

On this test i tried the plug into the wall option with HDMI in my TV with no luck at all, i counted how long the console stayed on for which worked out to be about 15 secs before it shut down. I have no other ideas atm.
