    My Xbox One X console crashed after an Omega Ring update


    Hello guys,

    I have a problem, ~8 days ago I made an update of omega ring of xbox inside program and my xbox one x got stuck on the screen "Something Went Wrong" error E101 00000504 8B050041, then I try the troubleshoot to do the factory reset and I get the error E106 00000009 C0000102 and I get stuck in that loop. The OS system version is 19h1_release_xbox_dev_2002.200128-2000.

    I tried to apply the OSU1 offline update solution, but after I found out it will not work for who is part of the xbox inside program, because the OSU1 is the current retail version and what I have on my xbox is a higher version.

    I recently read an excellent article about replacing XBOX internal HD that after an OSU1 on a console that is part of Xbox inside program, one of the alternatives to fix this would be to have another Xbox that is also part of the program and copy the entire contents of the $SystemUpdate partition and bring it to the same partition on the bricked console.

    Has anyone ever experienced this?
    Does anyone know if this solutions works?
    Any one knows how can I get console out of this state ?

    I have a Xbox One X and my OS version are 19h1_release_xbox_dev_2002.200128-2000.

    I searched the internet and I couldn't find any place where we could download these versions, it would be nice if microsoft / xbox made these files available for xbox inside program members.

    Slow Upload Speed on Xbox

    My console was on the Beta ring. I moved it to the omega ring, essentially rolling back several updates. After xbox was setup again, the issue still persisted. I log on today after work apx 16 hours later and normal upload speeds were back .

    Instead of leaving the Xbox Insider program as one Ambassador has suggested you can drop down to a lower ring which receives much fewer updates. For example if you are in Beta ring drop down to Delta or Omega. The Omega ring receives the fewest updates,
    usually just before it is released to the general public. This can be managed using the Xbox Insider Hub on your console.

    My 2nd replacement Xbox seems to be running HUT no absolutely fine. Also apparently the insiders Xbox app has a patch in the Omega ring that suppose to address all the consoles that are crashing. Next week I believe it goes live to everyone. Hopefully this will help you

    The New Dashboard 11/4/2019

    In my understanding the Dashboard experiment, A, B, C selection, is totally random.

    As "Both consoles say their OS Version is (19h1_release_xbox_dev_1911.191028-1335)" your consoles are either in the Beta or Delta ring.

    Both those rings and Omega ring are getting a preview update News release notes Beta Delta Omega
    Insiders     today, which you can manually start or wait until it becomes mandatory.

    After you do the update, if you want to change rings, it will be the perfect time to change as all those rings will be on the same release. Subject to eligibility.

    I am currently trying Delta ring. I will report here if it helps with crashing in late game.

    UPDATE:

    I was able to finish the game that was constantly crashing after updating to Delta ring release Xbox Insider Release Notes - Delta (2208.220715-2200) - Xbox Wire

    If Omega ring has same fixes, then hopefully everyone will get this fix soon.

    I will continue testing with Delta ring with all addons enabled (currently have extra civs disabled) with new game on huge map.
