My Xbox one won't update

Discus and support My Xbox one won't update in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So recently bought an XBox one s from a stranger and I started it and updated it but when it gets to 70% it says "There was a problem with the update"...     My Xbox one won't update


    So recently bought an XBox one s from a stranger and I started it and updated it but when it gets to 70% it says "There was a problem with the update" I know the Xbox is working fine because a lot of people have had the same problem. I might be wrong though.
    Ive tried everything, from hard reset to holding the button down for 10 secs. The only thing I have eat to try is the offline update. I need help please. This is the code I'm getting 0x8b05000f 0x00000000 0x90060007

    My Xbox won't update!

    When I try to update my Xbox as soon as the update goes to update verifying it immediately says THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE UPDATE and shows the error code 0x8B05000F 0x00000000 0x90080007. I tried updating again but i came up with the same message what
    do i do?

    I'm experiencing the same issue upon my attempts to update. I can only recommend that you type 8B05000F into the Xbox Forums search bar. Then read about how others are dealing with this and hope one of us receives a solution. Good luck!

    I actually attempted that process 2 days ago, and again with an Answer Tech yesterday. That wasn't an option for me originally, but fortunately the OSU files were updated to a new version a day or two ago. Unfortunately some of the files in OSU1 and OSU2
    were corrupt while trying to unzip them. I've downloaded each of them at least 10 times. I've used winrar, winzip and 7-zip. Apparently this has happened to a lot of people. While searching online, I even found someone that tried it from different locations
    on 4 different computers and even their smart phones. They continued to have the same issue as me. The Answer Tech had me try a bunch of different ways that I hadn't thought of. None of them worked. So… I guess doing the Offline System Update that way isn't
    an option for me. Google search "Xbox One OSU1 files corrupt" for more info. Is there a way to get those files already unzipped? Thanks.

    Hi there o/

    From the information you've provided, I think this is more a connection issue between the controller and console, though if there turns out to be a problem as with the update, I'd be happy to help there too!

    Here's some things you can try:

    • If you have a USB-A to mini-USB cable, try connecting the controller via that.

    • If this is a new controller, it may be that the controller isn't synced to the console. You should attempt to sync it.
