My Xbox One wont show any picture (kind of)

I get no picture when my Xbox boots up other than the hello message, the menu that comes up if I hold the home button down, and weirdly if I inset a disc, it will play that game but I only have one disc game downloaded.

I have seen similar problems where no matter what there is no picture, but not where some things work and can play the only disc game downloaded if you re-insert the disc.

Try to bring up the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter, follow these steps:

Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.

Press and hold the Pair button and the Eject button on the console, and then press the Xbox button on the console.

Note: The Xbox Series S and the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition do not have Eject buttons. You can bring up the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter on this console by holding only the Pair button (steps 3 & 4) and then pressing the Xbox button.

Continue holding the Pair and Eject buttons for 10-15 seconds.

Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the Pair and Eject buttons after the second power-up tone.

The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

To restore your console from the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter, select Reset this Xbox. When prompted, select the option to keep the games and apps.

If you are returned to the Home screen after the console restores and restarts, your console should function correctly now.

Solution 1:

1. Turn off Xbox One.

2. Unplug power.

3. Plug the power back to Xbox One 30 seconds later.

4. Press and hold Bind and Eject at the same time (don't release).

5. Press and release the Power button, and then you will hear the startup chime.

6. When you hear the second startup chime, you can release the bind and eject buttons.

7. Select Reset this Xbox on the screen.

8. Select Keep games and apps.

Solution 2:

If the above solution doesn't work, try updating your console offline by following the instructions in the article below.

My xbox live gamer picture wont update. It shows up for me as the new one i put. But my friends see my gamer picture as my old one. Any suggestions or help?

yes, i'm resetting it by holding using the guide button and holding y and the right trigger but the problem is my xbox wont show any picture in the Av setting after i used my HDMI cables.

Yes I'm aware that the mold has been closed for that order all I am needing is a picture of the HDMI cable that came with that console system what's the cable having the symbol Xbox or wrote out Xbox One

Its just a standard HDMI cable It isnt any kind of special one. Any HDMI cable will be fine for this model xbox has you wont need one that supports 4k. If you really want a picture just type into google HDMI Cable
