My Xbox One won't restart during the last step of the update.

Hi,

My Xbox One S was unable to startup, so I tried to perform Offline System Update using USB drive.

But during offline update using USB, step 1 and step 2 went successful. But during step 3 (42%), it goes into continuous loop of restarting and updating from (34% - 42%) and restarts and try again. This is in continuous loop.

Please help what to do now.

Hello everyone,

I have a lot of issues with the Xbox App lately. Every time I restart my PC the app is broken, it won't launch unless I reinstall it. The problem is that if I was downloading a game before reinstalling the app, the game won't launch when finished downloading.

You can add to that various crashs with other game store apps since the last Windows 10 update and freezes during a restart of the PC.

Is there anybody with the same problems ?

No, it is not normal for your Xbox to turn itself on in the middle of the night. And for the cutting off during an update sometimes the Xbox needs to restart during an update so that is normal, but if it is turning off and not restarting during an update
that is not normal.

ya know, I had tried it directly in the outlet instead of the surge protector, but I hadn't considered plugging it in in a different room. The update completed itself just fine in my bedroom and it looks like I'll be getting an electrician out to fix the outlet.
