    My xbox one won't bring me to the dashboard w/o choosing an internet connection


    Lost internet last night and won't have it until Tuesday. Why can't I play offline? The box won't even bring me to the dashboard. The box starts weird... This has never happened before. When I turn the box on the screen shows a controller and indicates to
    press A. When I do this it then asks what country and then language or visa versa. Then when I choose it wants to know what type of internet connection. There is no option to pick none so I'm stuck on this screen and locked out of my box. Why? What could
    have happened? Help!

    Xbox One X internet speed cap

    Does the Xbox One X have a cap for internet speeds? I get 1gb down internet, so I typically get 450mbps on average on other devices. However, on my Xbox, I only get around 98mbps. I'm wondering if there is a cap.

    I do have a wired connection btw, tried it w/o wired and speed halved.

    No it wasn't. 100% positive. I played MW3 the same exact way I play BO2 -- I play solo & refuse to play in matches in progress, so I just back out w/o ever choosing a class. My W/L in MW3 is like 2.50, my W/L in BO2 is something like 0.22.

    I paid $4.02 per gallon for gas!

    I PAID $100 for a family gold subscription. I should be able to play the same disc on both mine and my sons xbox w/o any other fees. THE FAMILY GOLD SUBSCRIPTION is the fee. as far as gas prices and starving children, you choose to breed and you choose
    to purchase a car and the gas that goes w/ it. We also choose to purchase an xbox one and that is a purchase I WILL NOT be making if my family gold subscription won't let the same disc work on all the consoles the subscription is tied to. Sorry microsoft.

    Cant connect to xbox live

    I'll look Into that, what I dont understand, is that when I connect to the Internet I choose it says its connected, so I click continue and then it shows me my dashboard where I need to connect to xbox live and it restarts the process all over again.

    The modem/router has worked for years w my xbox. Several other people in the same neighborhood use the same router and their box is working fine ~ so, i don't think it the device that is causing the problem. It's not the cable either as we've 1) tried
    the wireless connection and it won't connect either, 2) other devices are working fine w the router and 3) xbox connects to the internet...it just won't connect to xbox live. What's next?
