    My xbox one turns on but won't respond with the tv or anything.


    Last night I noticed my xbox one turned on by itself for whatever reason and turned it off the next day when I tried to turn it back on to play I noticed that it turns on but it won't respond with the tv or anything that tries to connect with it, if there
    is anyone out there who knows how to fix the problem please help me.

    My Kinect voice command turns of my Xbox one, TV and Directv box but won't turn on anything not even Xbox. Is there a setting I have wrong?

    Only Xbox Home button working

    Same problem here on one of my controllers. Connect it via USB and it works fine. XBOX button lights up solid like it is connected, but only XBOX Home button works and console responds like I want to turn it off but the joysticks won't move to select anything.

    Thank you for responding, Is the console Powering on and not displaying anything on your TV, or is it not powering on at all?

    If the console is not powering on then we will follow as Amber posted above and troubleshoot the console. If you go through the Troubleshooting it will let you know if the console would need to be serviced.

    Me too... but I having a bigger problem now with turning on my Xbox One with instant on and with TV turn on features. when everything is "off" TV and Xbox, I say "Xbox, ON" Xbox lights up but most times it keeps blinking and will not turn on my Samsung Smart
    TV and even the Kinect and Xbox won't boot up. I have to hard restart the Xbox but I still have to turn on my TV Manually, but when I do that and the Xbox calls for the TV to be Turned on it actually turns the TV off. I Never Had this Problem before.

    Hi Stud, thanks for the prompt response. One correction...the Nuforce Dia is a small DAC Amp(google Nuforce DIA). It basically is a very simple AV receiver with no features. I'd just like Xbox one to recognize it so it can turn volume up or down and turn
    it off with voice command 'Xbox turn off'. Tv and Xbox respond and turn off, but obviously the Nuforce won't cause Xbox one doesn't know what it is.

    One solution that would cost me another $30, buy another optic cable and run it from Xbox one to tvM then the extra from tv to Nuforce Dia. I think Xbox one could then control volume...cause it uses tv volume control, but it still wouldn't turn off the Nuforce
    Dia.

    Anyone else have a solution?
