    My xbox one turns off every time I plug in my hard drive


    So every time I plug in my external hard drive it turns off my Xbox it works fine with out it. But I have tried turning off my Xbox. Blowing in all the ports changing the ports and it still turns it off. It would be very helpful if anyone knows how to fix
    this.

    Xbox 360slim hard drive aprubtly unformated???!!! HELP!!!

    Yesterday I played red dead redemption in multiplayer and then is my xbox frozen....ok..turn off..turn on and...bamm..my original microsoft 250gb hard drive is unformated.... all my saves are on these hard drive..so I turned the xbox off...removed the plug
    and hard drive. ... today morning I put the plug and hard drive in and the hard drive is still unformated.... I put a lot time in these saves so PLEASE HELP ME!!!

    Xbox one doesn't stay on.

    OK this could be in the wrong section, but this is my issue. My Xbox one will not stay powered on, it just turns on about 5 seconds later turns off. I replaced the hard drive with my other x1 and still no dice.

    I was able to figure out that it will start and stay on without the hard drive plugged in, but as soon as I plug it in and try again the same thing happens.

    I can't figure out why simply plugging a hard drive in would make it stop working. Seems so silly.

    Can anyone out their explain this to me?

    X1 won't turn on!!

    Update-

    It appears to be an issue with the hard drive cables/hard drive. I took the hard drive out, turned it on and it turns on every time, but as soon I try starting it with the hard drive installed it turns on then off. The hard drive isn't the issue as I tested
    my other Xbox hard drive as well.

    I bought Dawnguard and Dragonborn but they don't show up in my add-on menu or in-game (360)

    It's all on one thing, my internal hard drive. I tried turning it on and off a few times and every time it never showed up

    I just had all the same problems as above. I disconnected the hard drive turned on the system then turned it off plugged the hard drive back in and turned the system back on. I went through to download my profile and it completed this time as well as connected
    to xbox live.

    I unplugged my external hard drive when my Xbox was turned off and when I turned it back on and plugged it back in, there were no problems. It could depend on what external hard drive you are using but mine was fine, for now at least, I hope there are no
