My Xbox one turned the power off on me during a game. Worked all the bugs out did ya?

Hard reset didn't help me. I still have issues with the console not powering on after being off for a few days. One thing I did notice is that when I first turn off the console with "instant on" enabled the power supply light will be white. "Xbox On" and
controller turn on works. However after about a day of being off the power supply light will turn orange. When this happens I have about a 50-50 chance getting the console to turn on with the controller and "Xbox On" won't work at all.

This is a shame because I have had 3 friends wanting to get an X1 and I told them to hold off till these bugs are fixed.

Turns out it is a bug. I got the xbox one controller to work but without the kinect... with the kinect on though it starts disconnecting.

What I did was:

1. Have your X1 turned off and pull the power plug out.

2. Pull out the kinect from the xbox.

3. Chuck back in the X1 power plug.

4. X1 should restart without the kinect...

simple but can't play with the kinect on... maybe im wrong but im hoping they fix this bug soon so I can play my xbox with kinect on with no messing around. And yes X1 (xbox one) does start without connect, microsoft said that it wouldn't start without kinect
they're just messing with you.

This has recently just happened to me. The TV will randomly turn off during a game and also using apps like YouTube. I power cycled it, but that doesn't seem to solve the issue. It seems like the system sends out a random signal to the TV. It just started
happening after the new update, not sure if it is coincidence or if it is a bug. I just removed my TV code from the system and it seems to be one solution for now.

My Kinect 2.0 was also turning on and off every few seconds. I tried unplugging the Kinect, then unplugging the power supply to my Xbox One, waiting a few minutes, and then plugging back in the Kinect and the Xbox. That did not work for me. So I tried the
next suggestion. I reset my Xbox One to factory defaults and that too did not work. During the setup process, it detected the Kinect. But a few seconds later told me it was disconnected. Then it kept turning on and off. Now I'm sitting here waiting to re install
all 280gb of games and DLC.

If anyone else has a similar problem, I suggest trying the unplugging method first. If that doesn't work, contact Microsoft and file for a replacement. Don't bother resetting your Xbox One to factory defaults. Unless of course you have like one or two games.

My Kinect has been turning off since I bought the xbox one 3 years ago first kinect I had to unplug whole system 2nd kinect I bought I had to unplug kinect from the back. Would turn on and off and stay off till I unplugged it and
was sluggish with my voice commands. When verizon fios upgraded me from a generation 2 router to a generation 3 router a few weeks ago both kinects work very well and never turns off or miss a voice command. It has something to do with the router.

All I did was turn my Xbox off then on and it worked for me
