    My Xbox One took an update and now will NOT power on


    after starting up in an odd “safe mode” type arrangement, the Xbox One downloaded an update and now, will not power on. If I press the X button on the console, it will chime, light up and then immediately go back out. Hard resets and attempting to factory
    resetting, is having no effect either. This is very frustrating. Please, HELP!

    My xbox wont turn on after an update

    I am on the xbox dashborad beta therefore i have the new dashborad

    I got an update for zune what was over 300mb and took at last 20 mintures

    after the update i turned off my xbox , and now it wont turn on

    Can anyone help ?

    Really *** right now,got my son and I an Xbox one for Christmas and can't use it!! Took over an hour to update, finally complete, update loaded and then shut down, turned back on and said its time to update and it won't, so now I have a $400 black box and
    a pretty upset kid!! Merry f...ing Christmas

    You were right The Wee Bear it took one week for me to be accepted to the beta and now i just wait for the update to be available for my Xbox One.

    Xbox Online Service Center website - Doesn't load my registered consoles.

    I took time out this weekend to have all my old (out of warranty) devices removed from my profile. I just left the Xbox One and Xbox One Kinect. I can confirm that although it took a few days for the website to update the service page now displays correctly
    for me and the error message has gone. Thanks for the help from all those who persevered!

    i had this exact same problem but managed to fix it by downloading the update to my computer then putting the file onto a blank dvd - rw disk and then using the disk with my xbox to update it that way it took a couple of attempts but is now updated and i

    well, i'm unplugging my cable box from my xbox one, since it never works anymore. when i got my xbox one, live tv worked most of the time and, if it didn't, it was easily resolved. now, through the last few updates, live tv works 5% of the time if i'm
    lucky, with no way to resolve the error when it occurs. so the update effectively took away functionality from my xbox one, and i'm now unplugging something that's supposed to be a core feature of the system over PS4. way to go xbox/microsoft. cheers all
