    My Xbox One Suddenly Thinks I'm Under 11


    When I started up my Xbox One this afternoon, I wasn't able to start playing some of my games. My settings had been changed to a child's, and I can't change it back on the console. I double checked my Microsoft Account, which still has my correct age.
    What is going on?

    just bought a brand new xbox one x and it show under warranty until 03/11/2019...? not one year???

    just bought a new Xbox one x , july 28 2018 and it show Under warranty till 03/11/2019 … mean march 11 or novemver 3 2019?

    does the Xbox one x has 1 year Under warranty?

    Sorry to hear about the issue. Please follow the steps below:

    • Remove your Xbox Live profile from your Xbox One Console
    • Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One until the console completely powers off
    • Re-add your Xbox Live profile to your console
    Be sure to post back if that does not work so we can try to narrow down the issue even further!

    As a safety precaution, I would suggest you change your password to your account. For all we know, there could be some unauthorized access going on.

    Since this is a Microsoft Account problem, you can check this support article (HERE). Apparently there is a way to override things and force your
    account into "Adult" status if the system thinks you're a "child".

    You will need to provide a credit card, or you can provide some kind of proof of your real age. Read through the article for further details.
